The National Theatre is staging a production of Detroit in the Cottesloe Theatre – the smallest of the National’s theatres – from mid-June to mid-July. Tickets range in price from £12 to £32.

The National’s production of Frankenstein, which was a sell-out last year, starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller who alternated the roles of Victor Frankenstein and the Creature throughout the show’s run at the National Theatre. Both versions of this play were filmed and many cinemas will offer the chance to see both of these versions.The film/s are being shown across the world, not just in the UK.

Additionally this summer The National has productions of Timon of Athens and Private Peaceful, together with Connections which is the National Theatre’s festival of great new plays and young theatre talent.
