The closest participating car park for the Lyric Theatre is at 20 Newport Place, London, WC2H 7PR. The rates for this car park are £6.50 per hour, up to 4 hours, and after that it is £38 for up to 24 hours.
Don't forget to pay the £11.50 (£1 less if you register, but that costs you £10 for a car) daily congestion charge for central London which applies from 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, if you are driving into London.

About the Theatre
The Lyric Theatre is owned and operated by Nimax Theatres, along with several other London theatres. Over 4 levels the theatre seats 915 guests, with 507 in the Stalls / Dress Circle of the auditorium.
There are two bars; the Stalls Bar also gives direct access to the toilets; the Upper Circle Bar has access from the street and features a lounge bar.
Both the Upper Circle Bar and the VIP Room are available for private hire. The Upper Circle Bar seats 40 or 120 standing and the VIP Room is smaller, with 20 seated and 35 standing.
History
The theatre was designed by C J Phipps and is the oldest theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue, with the original opening being in 1888. Originally the venue hosted operetta, but has since hosted drama, comedy and musicals, including Mice & Men, Robin Hood, Blood Brothers, Death of a Salesman, and of course Thriller Live. The roll call of artists is, of course, star-studded with such as Sarah Bernhardt, Leslie Howard, Alec Guinness, Leonard Rossiter, Dawn French, Alison Moyet and Laurence Olivier.
